Great product! Supports many coins. Easy to use, secure. Offers wallet inside a wallet.The only downside is the chain that comes with it. Broke on second time I used it and almost lost the ledger.Conclusion: Excellent product but DON'T USE THE CHAIN!
VERY convenient and very easy to use. This device has not only made storing crypto easier , but also safer. And my favorite part is how compatible with exchanges it is: it makes for TRADING crypto easy and convenient as well.
This device is worth every penny: if you own more than $100 worth of crypto, I HIGHLY recommend using this device to trade/store it!
This is a really nice crypto wallet that is very easy to use. The ledger team are constantly supporting new currencies and there are a lot of good resources for crypto beginners on this wallet.
There is a limit to the variety of currencies you can have on the wallet though. I believe it’s 3.
So this may not be for you if you are planning on storing a wide variety of coins/tokens.For those of you who don’t know how it works.It stores your private keys on the device.
You will receive a sequence of words when you set it up for the first time(write these down and store them somewhere safe) and you will set up a pin. To access the device you use the pin by physically inputting into the ledger.
If you lose the ledger or forget your pin code you use the sequence of words that you were given when you set the device up. You can recover your wallet on the same ledger or a new ledger using those words.
I am writing a review about this device because I ordered it DIRECTLY FROM THE MANUFACTURER DUE TO MISINFORMATION BEING SPREAD ON AMAZON AND IT STILL HAS FINGERPRINTS ON IT.
So these reviews about fingerprints are BS. SEE THE PHOTOS! The fingerprints are coming from the inventor of this device.I rather have ordered this on Amazon but I ordered this directly from the company in France because of these reviews.
You people are spreading misinformation! Someone needs to tell the people making these to use gloves. I understand the concern.
But your ignorance is spreading to other people and I rather not be infected by you.I have 20 years of IT experience and even trading experience that goes well beyond the scope of what a professional should have to understand this.
