In this video, I discuss the economics of Bitcoin mining as a business (capital-intensive, low-margin), as well as Bitcoin mining stocks like RIOT and BTBT.

Owning a Bitcoin mining stock can create very different investment results than owning Bitcoin itself, just like gold mining companies tend not to appreciate as much as gold itself over long cycles.

In addition, RIOT and BTBT look like scammy companies to me, with large insider pay-outs despite a lack of profitability.
