The event is expected to feature live entertainment, including a headline set by the legendary Dionne Warwick, as well as food/drink, vendors, charity and even educational content to teach people about crypto and dogecoin.

Meanwhile, the mayor of a small town in the great state of Missouri wants to give every resident up to $1,000 worth of bitcoin.

Mayor Jayson Stewart of Cool Valley wants each resident to receive up to $1,000 worth of bitcoin by year end.

He explained: “"I would like to see every single household in my city receive some level of Bitcoin, whether it be $500 or $1,000. Look, it's digital gold."

The mayor also stated: "I have friends whose lives have been completely changed, like going from working a regular nine to five job to being worth over $80 million in a matter of a few years."

This is amazing news for all of my viewers in the small town of Cool Valley, who will be feeling even cooler after receiving $1000 worth of bitcoin.

Finally, popular cryptocurrency trading platform Coinbase is being torn to shreds right now, following thousands of account takeovers, where users saw crypto money suddenly vanish from their account.

Since 2016, Coinbase users have filed more than 11,000 complaints against Coinbase with the Federal Trade Commission and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, mostly related to customer service.

Now, they are claiming that transactions on the blockchain are irrevocable and Coinbase’s insurance policy does not cover theft from individual accounts.

They explained in a statement: “There is no credible or supportable evidence that the compromise of your login credentials was the fault of Coinbase. As a result, Coinbase is unable to reimburse you for your alleged losses.”

This is a terrible situation that I’ve seen first hand, and I hope that Coinbase can get their act together, and fully refund and reimburse the customers that saw their cryptocurrency accounts stolen on the popular bitcoin trading platform.
