Introduction to crypto hardware wallets for those who're still leaving their crypto on exchanges.

I personally own the Trezor Model T, but really any major model should be adequate (eg. Nano Ledger X, the cheaper models of those brands).

Make sure that you have a smart strategy around storing your security words in case you lose your wallet (I speak more to this at 1:44).

Note: If you're staking/lending your assets, then you will have to leave those assets on an exchange so this video doesn't apply. Just be aware that leaving the assets on an exchange entails counterparty risk.
