Why ETH Will Go Up More Than Bitcoin

In this video, I discuss why I think that ETH will go up more than Bitcoin in the current crypto bull market.

Just as with stocks, higher risk (higher beta, lower market cap) cryptocurrencies and tokens have a tendency to outperform on the way up, and then underperform on the way down, as a new bear market takes hold.

For this reason, I would expect Bitcoin to lag ETH, which itself will lag other riskier cryptos and tokens in the current bull market.

One way to tell that you are in a crypto bull market is that ETH outperforms BTC, as has been happening this year-- if we observe the ETHBTC pair.

At the top of every bull market, most people have a heavier weighting to altcoins than Bitcoin.

At the bottom of every bear market, most people left standing are Bitcoin maximalists, who are thus unprepared for altcoin outperformance in the new bull cycle.

Due to tax and timing considerations, I will not be trading around my Bitcoin position, which I would like to keep for my children and grandchildren.
