Bitcoin is a disruptive technological innovation that launched on January 3, 2009. While many focus on its daily price movements, I am more interested in the technology and what applications it may have in the real world. My goal for this series is to explain how Bitcoin works in an easy-to-understand manner. In episode 1, I highlight some of the characteristics that we may or may not want in our currency.
