During the height of the 2017 bull run in Bitcoin, the cost to send Bitcoin topped at $55 per transaction. This means if you wanted to send any amount of Bitcoin, whether it be $100 worth or $1,000,000 worth, the cost was $55 to do so. Once the market cooled off, the Bitcoin fee bottomed at $0.22 per transaction.

In the last 3-weeks, the Bitcoin transaction fee has suddenly risen, now sitting at $4.05 per transaction. Could this be foreshadowing of what is to come if the Bitcoin price goes back to the all time highs? Could this lead to another surge in the Ripple XRP Price chart like we saw in the 2017 bull run, when investors opted to send their money back in forth in XRP rather than BTC?
