U.S. Dollar Collapse (2020)

In this video, I discuss how the U.S. Dollar is actively being devalued not only against other fiat currencies, but also against scarce real assets like gold, silver, Bitcoin, real estate, and even stocks.

Ever since the repo crisis of 3Q 2019, the Fed has been printing new U.S. dollars in order to buy assets like Treasuries to add to its balance sheet. This excessive money printing destroys the purchasing power of the dollar, which means that things like gold and Bitcoin go up in price in USD terms.

Anyone who thinks that the stock market is overvalued, or is trying to short gold or Bitcoin does not understand the importance of central bank inflationary policy. The Fed will continue to devalue the USD in an effort to keep asset prices propped up for as long as it can. It really has no choice since U.S. budget deficits are so large and must be financed, thus leaving the Fed as the buyer of last resort.
