SMALL BUSINESS PAYCHECK PROTECTION PROGRAM PPP
The Paycheck Protection Program provides small businesses with funds to pay up to 8 weeks of payroll costs including benefits. Funds can also be used to pay interest on mortgages, rent, and utilities

* Capped at 10 mIllion in payroll
How many loans can I take out under this program? Only one.What can I use these loans for? You should use the proceeds from these loans on your:
* Payroll costs, including benefits;
* Interest on mortgage obligations, incurred before February 15, 2020;
* Rent, under lease agreements in force before February 15, 2020; and
* Utilities, for which service began before February 15, 2020. What counts as payroll costs? Payroll costs include:
* Salary, wages, commissions, or tips (capped at $100,000 on an annualized basis for each employee);
* Employee benefits including costs for vacation, parental, family, medical, or sick leave; an allowance for separation or dismissal; payments required for the provisions of group health care benefits including insurance premiums; and payment of any retirement benefit;
* State and local taxes assessed on compensation; and
* For a sole proprietor or independent contractor: wages, commissions, income, or net earnings from self-employment, capped at $100,000 on an annualized basis for each employee.
All Small Businesses Eligible
Small businesses with 500 or fewer employees—including nonprofits, veterans organizations, tribal concerns, self-employed individuals, sole proprietorships, and independent contractors— are eligible. Businesses with more than 500 employees are eligible in certain industries.
Fully Forgiven
Funds are provided in the form of loans that will be fully forgiven when used for payroll costs, interest on mortgages, rent, and utilities (due to likely high subscription, at least 75% of the forgiven amount must have been used for payroll). Loan payments will also be deferred for six months. No collateral or personal guarantees are required. Neither the government nor lenders will charge small businesses any fees.
Must Keep Employees on the Payroll—or Rehire Quickly
Forgiveness is based on the employer maintaining or quickly rehiring employees and maintaining salary levels. Forgiveness will be reduced if full-time headcount declines, or if salaries and wages decrease.

7. Prohibited Fees. Other than a fixed interest rate of 1.0% on the covered loan, Lender is not permitted to charge or receive any bonus, fee, prepayment penalty, commission or other payment or benefit from a borrower in connection with the making or servicing of any covered loan under the Paycheck Protection Program.
