In this video, I discuss whether it's too late to buy Bitcoin, and how I think about the competition between Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies (altcoins).

To make money with altcoins, you need to pick the right ones (out of more than 7,000 altcoins), get in at the perfect time, sell at the perfect time, pay taxes on your gains, and still somehow manage to outperform what Bitcoin was doing at the same time. Pre-mines, insider dumping, liquidity issues, and delistings are some of the major obstacles that you will need to overcome.

For me, it makes the most sense to just hold BTC for the long-term. It's more tax-efficient, and the long-term returns should be higher than any other asset. Bitcoin as a store of value is the biggest use case on the planet.
