The GameStop Revolution: How a Bunch of Gamers told Wall Street to go F@*k Itself

In February, the GameStop revolution began.

What started with one person's affection for the beloved game store of his past transformed into a world-shaking event. While we all remember GameStop for being the store that screwed us on trade-ins back in the day, none of us realized it could break the stock market.

In a matter of days, the Redditors over at WallStreetBets took on the hedge funds of Wall Street and brought them to their knees. Billions of dollars went from the rich to the average person, all because a bunch of internet randos solved the stock market like it was a speedrun glitch.

From a company no one cared about to the hottest meme stock on the market. From a billion dollar payday to catastrophic lows. From paper hands to diamond hands. From GameStop to Game Stonk.

It may never happen again, but it changed everything.
