In this video, I discuss SEC Chairman Gary Gensler's recent interview with "The Washington Post," and its implications for cryptocurrency regulation.

Gensler clearly views Bitcoin as being in its own category, as a decentralized emergent store of value.

In the other bucket is everything else, including altcoins like Ethereum and Solana that raised money through an ICO (initial coin offering) and made sure that a large percentage of the coin's supply was pre-allocated to insiders and VCs.

I propose "The Vitalik Test," which is a cryptocurrency analogue of "The Howey Test."
