For anyone else like me who was curious, skeptical, and even a bit unsure as to the promise and future of Pi, the release of the Pi test Wallet and the blockchain in testnet means some big things are coming. While the Test-Pi is not currently worth anything, this allows for anyone running a node to try out Pi wallets in testnet to see how it'll all work and to contribute to the scale and quality assurance testing.
