As part of my series on PayPal and what thieves they are, I thought I'd make a short video on Paypal and Bitcoin.

Cos it's a thing now apparently. Anyway...

If you've seen my other video on Paypal, you'd know how much I detest them, and so following that theme, let's go on a journey of discovery...

I'll show you how to buy stuff via Paypal if you're forced to" but using your Bitcoin.

And here's the best part... you don't have to keep anything in Paypal.

You shouldn't keep anything in Paypal in any case. Like ever!!

Before I show you how to do this, lemme talk about this new PayPal Bitcoin thing that's busy happening.

If you're not in the US and don't know, basically Paypal will now allow people to buy crypto, ie. Bitcoin inside of their PayPal account.

Sounds wonderful, and you may even say, but Ru, that's exactly what I want... and to that I say NO!!!

When you buy crypto inside of Paypal, if you even get that feature, you basically cannot do anything with it.

You cannot trade it
You cannot exchange it
You cannot spend it
You cannot send it

Don't believe me? Here's what PayPal has to say about it:

"You currently are NOT able to send Crypto Assets to family or friends, use Crypto Assets to pay for goods or services, or withdraw Crypto Assets from your Cryptocurrencies Hub to an external cryptocurrency wallet."

Oh and there's this other little thing where Paypal acts as a custodian service. They hold all the private keys to your coins which kinda goes against everything they say in the cryptocurrency community.

You may have heard this... "not your keys, not your crypto". Don't let them try and convince you of this being a good thing, because they do.

Let's assume you like this idea regardless of the fact that it's Paypal or that you basically cannot do anything with your crypto and you go ahead, and you buy it.

Now for some reason, Paypal doesn't like your face and so they just permanently limit your account. It's been known to happen...

Poof... you just lost your bitcoin or crypto.

In short, Paypal are thieves who will end up stealing bitcoin. It may not be your bitcoin, but steal they will steal.

It crushes me to see people recommend PayPal and bitcoin as a service.

A quick recap of what we'll be doing...

We'll be using bitcoin on our free crypto debit card, linking it to PayPal and using PayPal to pay with our bitcoin.

We're going to look at a service called Kinesis. While this is not going to be a tutorial video, I will give you a quick rundown.

Think of Kinesis as an all in one "off the grid" solution to managing your money.

You have your own Bitcoin wallet
You have your own virtual debit card
You can buy gold and silver (which are AMAZING long term investments)
They are fully audited
and so much more.

After you signed up for free, log into your account. Do the normal verifications, etc.

Assuming that you've been verified, go and activate your free virtual debit card. This is what we'll be using.

Once that has been done, you are now able to use your Bitcoin from your bitcoin wallet to topup your card.

Super simple.

As you can see, I've already used mine to pay for stuff via Paypal as well as Amazon. It works great.
