"Why is ethereum dropping today?" is a question that has demanded a lot of answers given the most recent flash crash in the crypto market. People are wondering if this is the end of the crypto bull run. I believe that we are still in the beginning phases of the most recent bull market in the crypto space. ETH is no exception. Why is ethereum falling today? Ethereum will have its ups and downs, regardless, on chain analysis shows greater adoption by the number of active addresses on the Ethereum network. Furthermore the rate of inflation has decreased with the London hard fork's release. Over the last 7 days since this writing, 90% of new Ether has been burned away. Over the last 30 days, over 50% of ETH issued has been burned away since the inception of EIP 1559 on the Ethereum mainnet. What's going on with Ethereum? Bullish cases for Ethereum are coming out of the woodwork to try and predict prices over the next several months to the next several years. What's going on with Ethereum right now is that ETH prices are hanging out in the low to mid $3000 range and, so far, support around $3300 seems to be holding strong. Within the next several months ETH with be switched to ETH2 as PoS (proof of stake) is rolled out onto the mainnet, reducing selling pressure and encouraging HODLing. Should I sell or hodl Ethereum now? The decision is always up to the individual investor and it is based on what your intentions are and your perceived outlook for the asset or security. I am bullish on ETH over a long time horizon. So, I am choosing to HODL. How much Ethereum has been burned so far? As of this writing, there have been over 265,000 ETH burned and only about 486,000 ETH issued since the London hard fork. When will ETH break $4000? ETH should break $4000 by year's end assuming the bull run continues. My Ethereum price prediction 2021 is that ETH will see the $5,000 assuming the PoS goes live on the testnet and has a positive outlook for going live on the mainnet in early 2022. How high will ETH go in 2025? How high will Ethereum go in 2025 depends on a number of factors, Ethereum adoption by developers (especially in the areas of DeFi, NFTs, and gaming), demand for ETH, and competition from other blockchains. Why is ADA dropping today? ADA has sold off recenetly like many other cryptos. There is speculation that further selling could happen as a result of the release of the Alonzo hard fork that introduces smart contract to Cardano. Why is ADA falling today is a question commonly asked, but not many people ask why it has slow and steady gains when that is its price action. Big movements cause great excitement. How high will Cardano go in 2022? Cardano could see a price target of $5 if the crypto bull run continues and major DeFi players and the NFT market strength. How high will Cardano go in 2025? Cadano's ADA token could take on a $10 price tag if all goes well for 2025 and it continues to establish itself as a leader in the crypto space.
