In this video, I discuss the possible merits of Riot Blockchain (RIOT) as a trade and as an investment.

The company has a money-losing, scammy history, cycling through multiple CEO's and business and name changes. The executives and board are overpaid for a company that continuously loses money. They also have a history of poor investment allocations and write-downs.

RIOT looks to me more like a honey-pot for insiders, rather than being a business with a bright future.

In the short-term, money flows from naive retail investors can continue to pump the stock and squeeze the shorts. But it will probably end really badly.

If you want to invest in Bitcoin, you should probably invest in BTC itself.
