FILECOIN (FIL) is a very, very new cryptocurrency in the space right now. It just launched the mainnet a couple of days ago, and the crypto hit exchanges a couple of weeks ago. Now, the project itself was actually "conceived" in 2014, so it's nice to see it finally launching. Essentially, Filecoin is a decentralized storage network that allows you to be able to "rent out" storage space for rewards in the form of the FIL crypto token coin. There are a lot of positive use cases for this type of network, so it will be nice to see what happens from here.

Filecoin (FIL) hit exchanges hard and pulled back majorly. So far, it looks like there is an all-time low that has support sitting in the $20's.
