I'm moving my stocks from Robinhood and creating an investing account with SoFi. In this video I share my experience doing this process. I have to contact SoFi tomorrow to confirm my transfer went through since I didn't receive any kind of notification.

SoFi is a new investing and banking platform backed by Chamath Palihapitiya. Hopefully, SoFi can offer similar user friendliness that Robinhood does. I plan on keeping my Robinhood account, but I will not be using it for some time until I feel it's okay to start investing again with them.

Robinhood is a great platform to use, but the reliability makes me question how the software is being managed. Robinhood has more than enough capital, in my opinion, to not have some of these mistakes. Last week didn't help when they were trapped between a rock and a hardspace when having to choose between listening to their clearing house firms, that pay them, or the mass retail investors currently using their platform.

Of course, the latter was not chosen and many are furious over what Robinhood has done. It's unclear what will happen to the future of Robinhood, but we will have to wait and see.
