Today's video will show you exactly how to stake money with Coinbase in 2021. With staking, you can earn between 2% and 6% (extra money) just by depositing funds into Coinbase and letting your money work for itself. With other cryptocurrency wallets/exchanges, you can earn even more free crypto (see amounts below)!

WHAT IS STAKING (in cryptocurrency)?
Staking means holding funds in a cryptocurrency wallet to support the security and operations of a blockchain network. Staking is the act of locking cryptocurrencies to receive rewards.

Depending on which website you use as a cryptocurrency wallet/exchange will determine the amount of cryptocurrency rewards you'll receive for staking. As of April 30, 2021, you can earn the following:

GETTING STARTED

Once you have a bank account or credit card linked to your Coinbase account, you can follow these steps for setting up staking.

1. Log into Coinbase. Click here to get started: https://mmwm.dev/coinbase
2. On desktop, click the "For You" button (left side) and then click "Get more crypto."
On mobile, click the "Portfolio" menu button, find the currency you want to stake and tap that coin, tap the crypto wallet section, and then click Trade.
3. Follow the steps to buy or convert.
