Staking crypto is just another way to earn passive income from your holdings there are many cryptocurrencies you can stake is this is just your basic template on how to with the desktop qt wallets for most alternative coins. Simple really just download the blockchain with the wallet go to preferences of the wallet find Help , then debug window, then console then in the terminal window enter set generate 0 after you have received your coins into your wallet. Make sure to keep the wallet open all the time or else the node goes offline and you dont stake your coins you have to keep the wallet open all the time.
