Justin describes Proof of Work vs Proof of Stake, as well as opting to claim those staking rewards of your alt coin bags! In certain cases, like in the case of Tezos on Kraken, you can directly stake and claim your rewards on the exchange, without having to move the funds into a private wallet. Pretty much a no-brainer if your exchange offers this on your alt coin holding.


Other coins may require you to move the funds into a private wallet before claiming their staking rewards, all the more incentive to keep your funds off exchange and collect rewards!
