*What is Ethereum?*
A cryptocurrency is a digital asset designed to work as a medium of exchange that uses strong cryptography to secure financial transactions, control the creation of additional units, and verify the transfer of assets. Cryptocurrency are Considered huge due to their growth rate. Ethereum is a cryptocurrency just like bitcoin.

Ethereum is an open-source, blockchain-based, decentralized software platform used for it's own cryptocurrency, ether. It enables Smartcontracts and Distributed Applications (DApps) to be built and run without any downtime, fraud, control, or interference from a third party.* Bitcoin has a lower coin supply and is more liquid than Ethereum, but Ethereum has better technology and provides more uses than Bitcoin does. Based on the fact Ethereum has more use cases than Bitcoin and therefore serves a bigger purpose.
- I can say that it is needed and overall better Bitcoin alternative
