After rising past the $2,000 on February 20, Ethereum has been undergoing a pullback, as the strong selling pressure is driving the price downwards. ETH is trading around USD 1,470 and is down by almost 8 percent in the last twenty four hours.
ETH has seen a price drop due to large gas charges as they have recently reached record highs, with an annual transaction expense of more than USD 30. This wasn’t the happiest of instances because it made the Decentralized Finance market nearly entirely impractical for most retailers.
