Ether started this week big, surpassing it's earlier threshold of $1400 to register a new all-time high.

Additionally, the ETH/BTC there is also breaking out of its continual downtrend and has started hitting its highest levels since 2019. This news comes less than a week after Ether finally set its new high in three years.

This sudden uptrend in Ether has resulted in positive reaction from the crypto community. Ethereum, amongst other large cap cryptocurrencies, had struggled to perform against Bitcoin.
However, with the new wave of decentralized finance, Ethereum has started gaining momentum and outperformed Bitcoin in the recent Bull cycle.

According to several data analysts, this is possibly only the beginning of a spectacular Ether rally. It is being credited as a blue-chip asset of the cryptocurrency market owing to its network and recent momentum.

However how ether behaves in the foreseeable future is going to be crucial. It good rally after the CME futures listing in February. On the other end of the spectrum, it could also recede after breaking its all time high as the ETH/BTC pair cools down.
