Since moving to the Mojave desert 5 years ago I've tried to listen for the music of the desert. What does this other worldly landscape sound like? I love desert rock and Flying Burrito Brothers are cool too. I like going to Pappy's on Sundays to hear The Sunday Band. That's what the people of the desert sound like. But to me, this music is what the nature of the desert sounds like. Long, drawn out, never changing yet constantly changing. Subtle. Calm and turbulent. Infinite.
