Alexander Höptner, who took the helm as CEO of100x Group - the holding company for BitMEX owner and operator HDR Global Trading Limited - after its co founders Arthur Hayes, Benjamin Delo and Samuel Reed were charged with violating the US Bank Secrecy Act, says the impetus for the regulatory action is that crypto derivatives are "the next big thing".
