Two businessmen were charged at the Magistrate's court here today with three counts of cheating three women into investing RM150,500 in a crypto-currency scheme last year.
Reduan Ismail, 38, and Adan Ibrahim, 34, pleaded not guilty when the charges were jointly read before Magistrate Noor Azreen Liana Mohd Darus.
On the first and second count, the duo were charged with deceiving Nur Raihan Shabila Md Noor, 24, and Rozidah Yahaya, 49, to invest RM26,000 and RM120,000, respectively.
On the third count, the duo allegedly induced Normah Shaari, 60, to invest RM4,500. The offence was committed at the same venue at 10am on May 8, 2020.
