Do you understand how Crypto wallets work? What are they for and how can you use them?
If you don't know anything about crypto wallets your assumption of what they might be is probably wrong. Why?
Because we see wallets as something where we store our money.

How are crypto wallets not storing your money? Well, actually there is no wallet. There is just what we call a public key (the address) with a record of transactions.

The technology behind crypto wallets is super refined, they use something called elliptic curved cryptography.

Hardware wallets don't actually store your crypto, they store your private key. You can think of them more like LastPass than PayPal account. It's more of a functional device that does sometnig, as opposed to as a storage unit.
