The stock market is getting ready for another big week and possibly more lows on the S&P & Dow Jones as China gets ready to open up their markets after being closed all week for the lunar new year. With virus concerns sparking market contagion, investors look to see how China stocks play out. With fears and volatility rising, China decided to implement measures before market open, injecting more money through open market operations and liquidity injections, than they ever have since 2004. Beyond that, China is even banning short selling and requiring approvals for stock sales above 10M yuan. With China reacting like this, it is highlighting the vulnerability of the Chinese economy as well as contagion risk for global markets. I go over what this means and a market recap and analysis of how to play it. I then go over the top stocks in my portfolio and the hot stocks to buy during all of this!
