-Stake owner in Golden State Warriors Basketball Team
- Chamath Palihapitya Has opened multiple SPAC's most notably having mergers with Virgin Galactic and recently SoFi

Encouraging Retail and wallstreetbets to burn hedgefunds
I like that he's standing up to the little guy, but there could be a bigger play here. SPCE is one of the most heavily shorted stocks on the market right now, and Chamath has a large stake in this.
Stake in SPCE (heavily shorted) reason why he's trying to get ppl to buy heavily shorted companies
Governor policies: 0 state income tax, lower capital gains significantly

HFT REGULATION
-Significantly dry up liquidity,widen bid-ask spreads, this leads to more volatility in the markets which can hurt the everyday trader/investor
No Clear definition of HFT, will it have a certain timeframe that you have to hold positions to avoid the tax?
This can kill retail traders and investors as many of them adjust their portfolios everyday
- Limits traders freedom (Everything that retail traders and wallstreetbets is fighting for)

ELON/CATHIE WOODS EFFECT
- People take his word as gospel
-this can lead to pumping of stocks especially if he mentions his own

Robinhood Restrictions
-Uses his platform and perfect timing to tweet out his most recent merger (SoFi) as where traders should move to from RobinHood
Taking advantage of wallstreetbets and retail traders for his own personal gain
