BritCoin: Bank of England Attack On Crypto!

Cryptocurrency has been at the forefront of financiers' minds and the threats that it poses to today’s financial system. Crypto like BitCoin, Ethereum and XRP all have their own unique characteristics that allow them to solve unique financial and economic problems that every country currently faces.

However, Central Banks all over the world who have had control over monetary policy for so many centuries will not be prepared to hand over the reigns to a decentralised monetary platform that could completely destable today’s current financial system.

So in order to counteract this, central banks all around the world have began developing their own “Central Bank Digital Currency” or “CBDC” for short.

A Central Bank Digital Currency is exactly what you’d expect it to be, the digital version of fiat currency. £10 of CBDC would be the same as holding a £10 note in your hand, you’ve have exactly the same purchasing power regardless of what payment method you used. BUT, there are some fairly unique characteristics that could mean CBDC’s innovate and evolve today’s current financial system.
