In this video, Paul Puey, CEO of Edge Wallet, and Jan Hartmann, Business Development Manager at Banxa, show how to set up an Edge wallet with all the security steps needed to keep your funds safe and how to buy bitcoin from within the wallet.
How to set up wallet steps:
1. Download the app
2. Choose username and password (and save it) + add a pin
3. Enable 2FA (2-factor authentication)
4. Set up security questions
5. Send yourself the recovery email
6. Create a wallet using your chosen fiat currency
How to buy bitcoin using Banxa
1. Select buy at the bottom menu
2. Select a payment method offered by Banxa - POLi, PayID, BPay or Australia Post.
3. Select BTC wallet to send to
4. Enter the amount you want to buy
5. Click the "Create Order" button
On Your First Transaction you'll be required to submit your personal information to comply with local KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations.
