Keeping your assets safe is one of the most important things you as an investor should be thinking about. What good is an insane profit, if you will lose it all due to theft or negligence. That is why we created this important video on how to keep your Bitcoin safe.

How to keep my Bitcoin safe?

The best way would be to not only use a secure Bitcoin wallet, but to use a hardware wallet instead of any apps. A hardware wallet is like a USB stick that allows you to access your funds, but isn’t constantly online. Being offline makes it un-hackable and can only be physically stolen.

What Cryptocurrency wallet should I use?

There are many wallets, but if you opt-in for a hardware wallet, I would suggest Trezor or Ledger. My preference is Trezor which is one of the best hardware wallets (check the Crypto Starter Pack section above for the link).

Bitcoin Wallet explained:

Wallets in the crypto space have 2 key features, public and private key. Public key, or more commonly referred to as a public address is a string of characters that is acting like a regular street address. If someone wants to send you funds, they will be sending them to that public address.
While nothing can happen to you if other people know your public address, you should never share your private key. A private key is used to send funds from your account, so anybody who has access to your private key can control all the cryptocurrency on that particular address.
