A Private Swiss bank has introduced a new crypto trading and custody service for its institutional and high-net-worth customers to have the best trading experience in crypto. Venezuela are forcing use of their supposedly oil backed cryptocurrency the Petro by offering discounts for paying for petrol in the Petro. But, at the same time they’ve reduced subsidies for petrol, bringing the cost from basically giving it away to 2 cents a litre.
Which doesn’t sound like a lot, but on a person’s monthly petrol allocation of 2 tanks of petrol, that’s 37% of their total minimum income including their food allowance which is $3.61 and $2.89 food allowance.

At the same time, the US have put Venezuela’s superintendent of cryptocurrency and the man heading up the Petro, a man called Ramirez Camacho, on their most wanted list with a $5m bounty on his head for violations of international sanctions and ties to narcotics kingpins.
