Bitcoin, the world's biggest and most well-known cryptocurrency, reached an all-time high on Monday,... breaking its intraday record set in December 2017.
Bitcoin surged up to 8-point-7 percent on the day to 19-thousand-857 U.S. dollars,... bringing its year-to-date gain to 177-percent.
The previous high before the cryptocurrency crash was 19-thousand-666 dollars.
The new record high also came after Bitcoin crashed by 3-thousand dollars during Thanksgiving,... after large-scale profit-taking dragged on prices.
