BITCOIN $400,000! NFT CRYPTO Update Cryptocurrency ETHEREUM Crypto Bitcoin Stimulus Cryptocurrencies

Tennis superstar Serena Williams and her husband, Alexis Ohanian and his Seven Seven Six venture capital fund have made an investment in a new rewards program that offers bitcoin to users instead of traditional purchasing rewards.

Teaming up with Alex Adelman, the co-founder and CEO of bitcoin rewards start-up Lolli, this new program could change the way millions of Americans earn rewards on purchases.

Adelman stated: "I believe in everything about bitcoin. We want to make it as simple as possible for people to get bitcoin for their everyday purchases."

He continued: "I just kept coming back to this idea of cash-back for bitcoin as a way to teach people about bitcoin, distribute bitcoin to more people and ultimately make it more accessible to everyone."

This sounds like a great idea to me, and will certainly help thousands of people get their foot in the door of cryptocurrencies and digital assets.

Meanwhile, many critics of cryptocurrencies believe that these digital funds are bad for the environment due to the amount of energy consumed and used.

Fortunately, a new group called the Crypto Climate Accord hopes to put an end to these big carbon footprints, aiming for all cryptocurrencies to use 100% renewable energy by 2030.

Walter Kok, CEO of the nonprofit Energy Web, explained: “It’s about being efficient with energy and as making sure that the energy consumed is actually green.”

He continued: “I think that the real solution is to convert all the electricity production to green. That’s what we’re focusing on. Let’s accelerate the journey and, as a sector, let’s invest in that so that whatever we use is provable as green.”

This solution sounds like a slam dunk to me, as crypto’s will still be able to use power, but it will be clean energy created by renewable resources.

Finally, the sky could be too low of a ceiling for some bitcoin analysts, who recently explained that the price of a single bitcoin could increase to $400,000 by the end of 2021.

According to Bloomberg Crypto Outlook: “Our graphic depicts bitcoin on similar ground as the roughly 55x gain in 2013 and 15x in 2017.”

They continued: “To reach price extremes akin to those years in 2021, the crypto would approach $400,000, based on the regression since the 2011 high.”

Bloomberg also stated: “The year after a supply cut (halving) is what 2021 has in common with 2017 and 2013, along with subdued volatility.”

While I don’t think a 55X gain will be occurring throughout the rest of the year, I do think that bitcoin can easily climb to $100,000, as it’s currently almost there and sitting at $57,500 as of publication.
